Many properties have weight limits. If your pet exceeds the limit, chances are you will have to find another apartment community. Most apartment homes will accept dogs that weight under 50 pounds. If you know the area your interested in, the easiest way to start is to type in the city and state you are interested in followed by the word “apartments”. Apartment Security Features

Many apartments today have intrusion alarms in the units themselves. Others have private manned security gates for added security. If you need certain features to feel safe, start by making a list. Remember, if you absolutely love an apartment community, and it doesn’t have a security alarm, you can always have one installed. There are plenty of companies that can do if for you.
